Similar to AR program in Elementary, in Middle School we use Whoo’s Reading. This program asks open ended questions and keeps track of books read. Student can decorate their Owl based on their Reading points.
FICTION- PLOT NOTES
Exposition- Exposes and introduces what story the story is about.
Setting- time & place or where and when a story takes place
Characters or (protagonist/antagonist)- people/animals/figures that play a part in a story.
II. Rising Action-events that lead up to the climax of a story
a.Problem/Conflict- is found in the R.A.
III.Climax/Turning Point -the most intense, exciting, or an important part of a story
a.suspense-a feeling of uncertainty, used to build interest, and excitement on the part of an audience.
IV. Falling Action- major events that lead to the end of the story,occurs right after the climax, when the main problem of the story is slowly resolving.
V.Resolution/Denouement- the conclusion/solution of the story's plot.
