SYLLABUS

August 15, 2019

Welcome to World Geography and History.

Hello, my name is Judith Kilburn. I am your child’s 6th grade Social Studies Teacher.  This year is Social studies we will cover 8,000 years of human history and all seven continents.  In less than 180 days we will circle the globe and study all of human history. This is a lot of information and attendance is very important. If students miss class they are expected to ask the teacher when they can make up the missing work. They may make up work after school until 4:00pm.  Any make-up work, or test re-takes are to be given after school.  Students are always encouraged to stop by after school if they need help or have questions. If you need to reach me, my email is jkilbu11@uisd.net.  If you would like to sign-up for notices of tests and assessments you may text @26ehhf to the number 81010.  You will get a text reminder of each exam and other important 6th grade information.. Here is an outline of the topics we will cover throughout the school year.
